This is You Are Alive off brand new album Cheers, Sound, Good Luck from Son of The Hound aka Michael McCullagh. It’s hard not to carried away with the rousing chorus and sheer enthusiastic delivery. It reminds me of a cross between The Saw Doctors and Big Country – 2 bands I adored incidentally. Michael’s quite the talented guitar player too and there are plenty of riffs to admire and enjoy on this track. I’ve also just checked out Shadows and Pride off the album and they too sound fab. This deserves to do really well – it’s pretty excellent.
