Right, no beating about the bush – “Calls of Prudence” by Running Red Lights is a beautiful classic pop/soul/jazz tune, echoing Mary Wilson, Little Jimmy Scott and even The Jackson Five to name a few. You will lose yourself in lush melancholy and delight in the breathy, ghostly backing vocals and the haunting sax. The video perfectly captures the atmosphere of the song as well. I’ve been playing this all day, it’s superb.
