Abraham Murder – I Am Electricity
Abraham Murder is the alter ego of multimedia artist Igor K. “I Am Electricity” is the lead single from his new LP “Scarlet Distance” (released in December ’17 on Winslow Records). It’s a brilliant song with sharp new wave edges. It’s immediate, cool and clever and brings to mind the likes of Lou Reed, Talking Heads and Television to name but a few.
The LP as a whole is well worth a listen, there are some cracking tunes. If ice-cool electro-pop suffused with attitude (and not a little experimental bent) is your thing then you’ve come to the right place. Take “Frustration” as an example, it’s just superb. Speaking of frustration, apologise for the late post on this, I was supposed to cover this in November and then December and between one thing and another (work/Christmas/hangovers), it slipped through the cracks.
