Repetition, modification, simplicity, imagination, creation are all words that spring immediately to mind when I first heard Я Іду до Тебе by Peredmova. It’s a sweetly constructed electronic almost-lullaby, that shifts and changes organically but in a very thoughtful and controlled manner. It’s one of the most beautiful songs I’ve heard this year. It’s from their LP “Абетка”, released earlier in the summer on the Kiev-based Dobryi Bober indie label. The duo are Владислав Зарічнюк and Віра Правило and they first hooked up in 2016. They bring an excellent aesthetic to their cover designs and photos as well which is definitely reflected in their music and vice versa. So there you go, we posted two class bands today that I had never heard of 24 hours ago, not bad, not bad at all.
