The Barbiturates have an addict of me made

The Barbiturate – Psychotic Mediator

Niall of the Nine Hostages, was a prehistoric Irish king, the ancestor of the Uí Néill dynasties that dominated the northern half of Ireland from the 6th to the 10th century. Skip forward a thousand years or so and I give you Nihilist of the Nine Hostages, we’re still up north and man is it grim? The Barbiturates lay it on the line in “Psychotic Mediator”, it’s a swirling, whirling morass of hopelessness like a new theme tune for Hitchcock’s Vertigo. “I have dreams I don’t fulfil them/Everything in life is lies”. Oh, it’s tremendously entertaining too. I can imagine Frank Sinatra singing this.

Never thought I’d post a picture of Thatcher on SWIT, just goes to show you never can tell.

As I speak they’ve just released another shitload of songs, we’ll report back next week………
