From the debut EP of the same name, Silver & Gold is the second single from Utrecht synth-pop artists Jo Marches. Combining effortless synth classicism,multiple keyboard hooks and beautifully detached, yet world-weary vocals you end up with a stand-out track that demands repeat playing. The video by Gees Voorhees is great too, simple but effective, mesmeric – the camera loves Johanneke Kranendonk. Check out the whole EP, it’s a really assured piece of work, and show huge promise for the future.
