Ténéré at work
Back in March Anglo-French trio Safetalk broke radio silence with their debut release, a cosmic hymn to the ’Universal’. We said at the time “this is a direct transmission from Paris to Berlin. This is a blissed-out electronique love letter from the Universal. This is just for you.” and we meant it. oh yeah. It was kinda perfect so it comes as a surprise to find it got a little more perfect (can that happen?) in this remix by French artist Ténéré. It’s the clipped beats, the vocals now drifting in and out of a half open door, the lights flickering as the dawn breaks…. this is one of 3 remixes and I can’t imagine the others could be any better than this. Ha!
About the remix Safetalk did muse ““Ténéré’s remix really stood out for us because it offers a totally new re-imagining of the Safetalk experience, it’s like sinking into a warm sonic bathtub at the end of the day, music to calm mind, body and spirit. We are so glad to be the first people to has received his remix treatment.”
P.S. Safetalk are playing their first ever live show in Paris this weekend at Maison Sage on Saturday – info here.
