The astral plane, also called the astral world, is a plane of existence postulated by classical (particularly neo-Platonic), medieval, oriental, and esoteric philosophies and mystery religions. It is the world of the celestial spheres, crossed by the soul in its astral body on the way to being born and is generally populated by angels, spirits or other immaterial beings (such as Gerry).

Astralplane are also a band from Salvador, Brazil and they have produced this song, Redevoar, which ,were it on a 7″ disc, would certainly qualify as a celestial sphere. What a beautiful, chilled-out meditation is it, the tune drifts on a summer breeze, I could listen forever. Check it out.
