Noa May but you may not

Noa May – Hey

Noa May is a singer/songwriter and human rights lawyer from Tel Aviv. “Hey” is her cover of The Pixies classic and the lead single from new EP “Grace Under Pressure”. You know, some people say you gotta be pretty foolhardy to take on Frank Black but Noa pulls this off with panache. In fact it sounds downright dangerous to me, love the vocals and the lonely guitar and it’s got some middle eastern spice too. I recommend a listen to the rest of the EP as well, it’s class.

I hope she’s as good a lawyer as she is a performer because I find this tune very arresting. [You’re fired. Ed.]
