Lynette Williams – Light

This is “Light”, the new single from Harlem-based singler/songwriter Lynette Williams. It says on her website she’s been known to bring audience members to tears and I can well believe it. What a voice, what a tune – regretful, folk-tinged and beautifully sung, this really is songwriting of the highest order. If this is what heartbreak sounds like then please break mine right now, right this very minute.

P.s. My signing has been know to reduce people to tears as well, but for very different reasons.
